Welcome to TaxPracto.in ("TaxPracto", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use TaxPracto.

1. About TaxPracto

TaxPracto is a web-based reference tool designed for Chartered Accountants, tax advocates, and compliance professionals in India. It provides section-wise mapping between the Income Tax Act, 1961 and the Income Tax Act, 2025, along with related tools such as compliance reminders, client note generation, and case law analysis.

TaxPracto is a reference tool only. The information provided on this platform does not constitute legal, tax, or professional advice. All mappings, summaries, and analyses are for reference purposes and must be independently verified against the original Act text and official government notifications. We strongly recommend consulting qualified professionals before acting on any information obtained from TaxPracto.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of TaxPracto, you must create an account by providing a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration.

TaxPracto offers both free and paid subscription plans. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through our payment partner, Razorpay. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorise recurring monthly charges to your chosen payment method. You may cancel your subscription at any time, which will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.

First-time subscribers are eligible for a full refund within 7 days of their initial subscription. After this 7-day window, no refunds will be issued, but you may cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future charges.

7. Accuracy and Disclaimer

While we make every effort to ensure the accuracy of our section mappings and content, we cannot guarantee that all information is complete, current, or error-free. The section mappings are prepared with the assistance of AI tools and undergo verification by practising Chartered Accountants. However, errors may occur. Always verify critical information with the original Act text.

TaxPracto is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TaxPracto, its proprietor, and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of or inability to use the service.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on TaxPracto, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of TaxPracto or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The section mapping data, AI-generated summaries, and original content are proprietary to TaxPracto.

10. User-Generated Content

If you submit feedback, corrections, or other content to TaxPracto, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, modify, and incorporate such content into our service.

11. Third-Party Services

TaxPracto integrates with third-party services including Razorpay (payments), Google Calendar, and WhatsApp Business API. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of any third-party services.

12. Modification of Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of TaxPracto after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, is harmful to TaxPracto, its users, or third parties.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan, India.
